https://www.pensacolamta.com/Catherine Crawley, was born in San Francisco California and began to study music at the age of six. Catherine moved to Gulf Breeze, Florida in 1970 and studied piano with concert pianist Leonard Gay. She later attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando. A member of the choral society and the U.C.F chorus where she sang in Walt Disney World while Rock Hudson narrated a Candlelight Christmas program in 1980. Catherine later performed with the Pensacola Symphony (Grier Williams conductor), sang with the U.W.F. singers, and accompanied the P.J.C. Dance theater group. She studied piano (Bachelor of Music Education) under the direction of concert pianist and Steinway Artist, Pierre Huybregts at the University of West Florida where she performed her senior recital in 1995, and is currently an active member of the Pensacola Music Teachers Association.

Catherine has maintained an independent piano studio since 1983 and gives annual recitals. Her students have appeared in the Navarre Press, The Gulf Breeze News, and Pensacola News Journal for their accomplishments in composition, as well as being available on iTunes. They have participated in National Music Achievement Award Programs and received certificates with honors from the Florida State Music Teachers Association.
